Since my last blog post.  Pregnancy.  Pre-eclampsia.  New Baby and challenges.

But I’m back.  And ready to get caught up and connected!

I love pictures.  I love pictures of people….being people.  Interacting with the world.  Exploring their surroundings.  Enjoying one another.  And I’m lucky enough to capture these moments for my clients.

Romantic, silly and totally in love.  I had so much fun with these two and watching them be so into each other!  To see their personalities  transform  with their outfits, from timeless elegance to relaxed laughter, reminded me what it feels like to have that love in the beginning.  Thank you both so much for such an amazing session!  Good luck to you at your wedding in Houston, it’s going to be amazing!!!

Toya is a wonderful dance instructor at  Absolute Dance, which is where I first met her.  I loved watching her dance around the stage with her sweet little belly at recital.  Just a few weeks later we met up at a beautiful garden to capture some sweet moments with her super fun-loving husband, Jeremy, and the ‘tiny dancer’ in her belly.  We had wonderful clouds covering and a cool breeze blowing, which made this 114 degree day much more bearable!  Jeremy was the only one who seemed to walk away with any casualties- a few golf ball sized mosquito bites on his face (which thankfully appeared AFTER we finished our session!)   Here are just a few of my favs from their session.   Thank you both for such a wonderful morning!  I look forward to meeting your sweet baby girl!

I can only imagine the pride Kolten’s parents have for him.  He doesn’t just play basketball, he is Captain.  Not only does he play football, but is Captain of that as well.  Incredibly gifted, incredibly humble, even a little shy.  This amazing young man definitely has many gifts and a bright future ahead.  Oh, and we can’t leave out Xena, his furry sidekick!  Thank you for the great session and good luck to you, Kolten!

For this High School Senior session Beatriz took me around to parts of her little town, Stanton.  We found some amazing texture, made great use of the looming clouds and well, her smile is just infectious!  She tried to demand a ’serious face’ but as you can see a smile just suits her fun spirited personality!  Thank you for the wonderful session Beatriz!!!

New faces and places for this fun engagement session!  Veronica and JR have a wedding coming up in June and I am thrilled to be working with the two of them!  They are both so refreshing!  We wandered around downtown Midland for this session and to challenge myself, as well as offer them something new, most of our locations were first time places for me.  The weather was amazing and the sunset seemed to last forever…. Congrats you two, enjoy your sneak peek!
